I am a graduate of Cortiva Institute of Massage and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Washington State Sports Massage Team.
In addition to my massage training, I have an extensive background in health and fitness. I have a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in physical education and have professional experience as a teacher, trainer, coach, athletic administrator, and event planner. I “get” the positive physical effects of massage and also value the mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits massage can bring and how massage can play a part in overall health and wellness.
As a lifetime athlete, I continue to embrace an active lifestyle and have valued massage as a part of my own training for several years…that’s one of the reasons I made a career change to become a massage therapist: this stuff works and I have experienced how and why it’s good for you. I have completed 3 half-ironman triathlons, one Ironman, and several half marathons, open water swims, and cycling events.

My career objective as a massage therapist is to serve and support clients who embrace a healthy lifestyle – athletes that range from beginners to recreational participants to elite competitive athletes. My practice is by no means limited to “accomplished” athletes; I am enthusiastic about working with anyone who is interested in enhancing their health and well being.
